That meter touching would have been a channels outputs shorted to ground, the meters are powered right from the speaker outputs.

Are your speakers capable of reproducing those frequencies? Most sealed cabinets roll off fast around 60hz. That WOPL should be able melt most home audio speakers without breaking a sweat!

Hmmm I had bias issues with Tim (700/1 stock back planes and WO board) regarding bias. Ended up being an old back plane capacitor BUT I did notice that bias was wonky (if that’s a technical term) until the mains voltage came up a good bit. Now remember, Im a fookin rookie so ask the experts but...

I’m all mixed up now... yours is stock backplane/quasi-comp right? If so yours are all the same except the bottom row. If full comp the +/- rails must be properly populated with 95/96’s

NPN/PNP. they must be on the correct columns could your issue be that simple?
