Can you check continuity/resistance of the windings make sure it’s not dicked?

Take a reading across it, spray it with some cleaner and gently work it see if it’s making contact and what it reads. Maybe note where it is roughly now so you can start in the ball park.

    Three way electronic crossover

Having the same issues which are even worse now that I’ve gone three way with the big carver, Tim and Linda... picked up some transformers but initial results are not promising. I have to finish making cables to really give them a fair shake. Following with much interest.

    Michell prisma circuit board

There’s a course trim pot which affects both the 33&45 pot also so the actual value of those trim pots likely has some wiggle room. To me the issue would be trying to keep things visually original. I did repair one of mine with a pencil lead for a wiper. Works fine, I set it in the middle then...

It’s beveragè time though. I’ll tell yas a story of a cocksucker tried to pay me $10 for honing three cylinders and extracting three stainless bolts from an aluminum casting exposed to salt water another night.

WTB PL400 meter bezel and a couple of FPL909's

Shortage or cuz commiefornia? Hell, I can make a couple phone calls and I’m sure we could have 15k rounds of .22 sitting on the table and im a fucking de-balled no guns leaf...

WTB PL400 meter bezel and a couple of FPL909's

Was looking at those transformers today, not sure 350/0/350 is correct? I’m getting ~290vac from the good winding no load/diodes lifted. Won’t 350/350 be too spicy? The filament winding is 6.3vac and good. The schematic specifies 515vdc after the diodes...

NEW PL700 Series 2 WOPL BUILD

Electrons don’t care what colour the wire is so long as they get where they gotta go. Amp is old enough to fart dust, who knows what colour wires are in it now if it’s been serviced along the way and I bet PL employes smoked a ton of the devils lettuce...

NEW PL700 Series 2 WOPL BUILD

I’m too full of beer and mom’s spaghetti to be much use. I’d identify where those wires go to on the back plane. There’s only three options, I’m pointing to the emitter. The other pin is base and the one with the tie bar which the screws go through are collector. Then refer to the documents.

NEW PL700 Series 2 WOPL BUILD

Hard to see in your pic but those look like collector bus wires. Never worked on a S2 though. Do the transistor screws go through where that bus is soldered too? don’t take my word for it, I’m REAL good at letting smoke out!

NEW PL700 Series 2 WOPL BUILD

Pretty sure the PL transistor sockets are marked on the inside for base and emitter, collector is the case, identify whether those wires are base or emitter then follow the documents for joes board as to which pin they go too?

This one is in stock though. Might at least pull the transformer covers off and see if it can be repaired or even partially hand wound to fix the break.
