    400 S2 - Wopl In Progress

Quick update - Backplanes are done and sitting in the chassis for wire routing. Started work on Control Board. Question - The 22Ohm resistor for R37L/R and R41L/R is labelled as red-red-black-gold. The resistors in my kit are red-red-brown-gold (22.1Ohm). Is this correct?

P-clamp was used during soldering of the transistor. Shortly after that pic, it was slid back on and the old hardware was used to secure it until ready for the chassis. Super glue is a good option.

Welcome! Take a look at these - https://www.sci-bay.com/product/staco-model-3pn1210-0-120-vac-12-a/ No affiliation - I bought mine from them, back when I was looking. The unit I received is better than the pictures they have posted for some.

    400 S2 - Wopl In Progress

Shadows are playing tricks in the picture. I double checked those under magnification and had my daughters check (better eyes) after explaining the end goal to them. Thank again!

    400 S2 - Wopl In Progress

Yes, this unit did not have that nasty crap. As of now, the unit has been blown apart and the xfmr, p-straps are set aside. The heatsinks have been prepped and sit on the bench with the WO chassis. I have not melted any solder in a looooog time, so I thought I would start with the WO LED...
