    I think the consensus will be use quality parts. The Nichicon are good and as I recall, that is what GeorgeS used on his build. Mouser did not have the 390pF Mica in stock so I found some at Parts Connexion and purchased the Elna caps to make the order worth while.

    Another PL2000 S2 rebuild

    Many THANKS to all here! As a small give back, I am attaching a parts list and a quick drawing I created. The BOM is formatted like the WOPL docs. As for the drawing, my board is not silkscreened so I scanned the bare board and made components on top of it.

    Another PL2000 S2 rebuild

    Brought it up on variac and dbt - no smoke encountered. DC voltage is 19V on both rails with 10 ohm resistor in each leg of secondary (the original 4136 installed for testing). Calling it a day for now and will get back to it tomorrow.
