    Multimeter Fuses.

Interesting, I've never seen such markings on fuses before, I've thought that was small 5x20 or 6x32mm glass fuses. And for more confusion I've seen in a tutorial the 11A fuse with green markings labelled as fast blow, in France the slow blow fuses have green markings and the fast blow fuses...

    Multimeter Fuses.

That's confusing, 440mA & 11A is more realist. I suppose the 10 & 17kA interrupt ratings makes them specific and hard to find.

    Multimeter Fuses.

A 100A fuse in the meter ? Are you sure about the marking ? usually for the 10A part it's a 10 or 12A slow blow.

Nice audiophile space heater, I would push the air in as it will keep the fan cool.

Yes it's the back tension belt, when broken the deck will randomly eat tapes. I use Ø27x1.0mm square belt for replacement. The left pinch roller looks badly cracked.

It was left in a very humid environment, never seen so rusty cassette support pins. The problem with tape deck is once you get one, you want another one, and another one... And that's never enough.

Discussion about vintage cassette tape degradation

Interesting, I've always thought that CDpower was the American version of the CDingII. Anyway the 110 version couldn't be SA-X tape as the longest lenght of them was 100.

    Alpage AL-300 Help

Yes you should change the reel tables tires, they usually goes bad after 40 years. To get access you'll need to disassemble the whole cassette door. For the capstan belt it's more complicated as you need to separate the front and rear transport chassis. Mark the position of the play solenoid and...
