As what Chris already said... Not much. Those Beyers you are using are excellent headphones, and to be honest most of the "Noise Cancelling" stuff is hipster shit. I'm using some of that hipster shit (Bluetooth, ANC, etc...) to evaluate most of the productions we've done, and to have an idea...

For me it is a nope. I understand your fetish for outdated equipment, but audiotechnology went on over the last four decades. I've done a lot with tapes, especially cassettes, won prices with my mixtapes, but it still is an infererior format. No expensive cable, pair of cans or mint condition...

Yep.... Still one of my favourites: The rare 242 HD, based on the classic K-240 model. This one is heavily modified with larger 50mm drivers and completely new wiring, but in the end absolute superb sounding on the ears...
