I will do an upload of this concert the usual way in my own "home" thread, and share this piece of electronic music history with you all.

The full Dominion 1982 concert, London: Much better than the official album release TD did in1982, and great to hear the complete solo's by Johannes Schmoelling on the magic Roland Jupiter 8 synth...

    Trolling head-fi again.

Anyhow... Never had a Goldenshower on my head and will keep it that way.

    Trolling head-fi again.

Sidenote to my last post (and strictly personal from my point of view) : Most of the people with a big mouth (again: at an age with a hearing problem) can't play a single note on an instrument or haven't seen a decent recording studio to work in, so I'm getting a bit bored about this kind of...

    Trolling head-fi again.

Ach, De meeste idioten die allang rijp zijn voor een gehoorapparaat kopen / geloven in dit soort rotzooi. Ga godverdomme muziek luisteren met je oren, en vooral met je gevoel. Most people at an age (and probably with a hearing problem according to their age) with too much money will buy this...

Dyson OnTrac. Dyson gets serious about cans.

As what Chris already said... Not much. Those Beyers you are using are excellent headphones, and to be honest most of the "Noise Cancelling" stuff is hipster shit. I'm using some of that hipster shit (Bluetooth, ANC, etc...) to evaluate most of the productions we've done, and to have an idea...

You probably will be happy not having me as a neighbour.... (Thank god we haven't any neighbours nearby...)

Neither do I, but as it comes to music, my mixes and audioprojects it will be fine.

Don't worry Chris. We all have our own fetish for certain kind of things. I have it with drums, cymbals and modern recording gear. Nothing wrong with that. Most people in here (and the good guys at T.H. in the past) know my credo: 'Share the fun, 'Share the feeling'... Life is too short to...
  17. Miracle Mile

    45 years ago, today...

That's exactly what I meant in my last sentence of my post, but in fewer words Chris: 'Nevertheless: I like the fun you have with all of this stuff.' So, I didn't miss the point, and it wasn't meant offensive.

For me it is a nope. I understand your fetish for outdated equipment, but audiotechnology went on over the last four decades. I've done a lot with tapes, especially cassettes, won prices with my mixtapes, but it still is an infererior format. No expensive cable, pair of cans or mint condition...

Sennheiser fanboi find of the month

Yep.... Still one of my favourites: The rare 242 HD, based on the classic K-240 model. This one is heavily modified with larger 50mm drivers and completely new wiring, but in the end absolute superb sounding on the ears...
