Correct on the high power being easier on some drivers, if it's clean. I used to blow tweeters on the D9's with lesser powered amps, even with fuse protection and the D9's have a circuit breaker on the tweeter if I remember correctly. Anyhow, once I went WOPL 700, no more blown tweeters, at...

When I owned a pair I used the same 5A fast blow. Seemed about right, never broke a woofer anyway. Without fuse, I am sure a healthy 700 could break them, for sure, without clipping.

Question for the better educated: I want to take out a high pass filter in passive speaker crossover in the easiest way so that I can add it back as easily as possible if I need to. The capacitor is in series, the inductor is crossing from positive to negative side. Was planning to snip one...
