Just noticed, except the missing pots on your back panel.

Could it possibly be a partial 'pot' that has snapped off from the rest and missing the knob? Maybe not necessarily belonging to this unit, but just check the back panel anyway. If you unscrew the screw, does the remnants of a shaft fall out?

It's probably forgotten the words..... OOPS, I thought you said Hum.

Scored a Shure V15 Type III cart with original stylus today for AU$143 [US$115] today. I'm happy with that. :)

Colin does stuff from time to time, solo, but it's not the same. His time has been and gone, and it's the band that will be remembered long after he's gone.

Initially the singer and guitarist. They started as a duo. Eventually they got the three other blokes to turn it into a band. Then Greg, the flute/kbd/sax player also wrote. I don't recall the other two writing except for John, the bass player, may have written and sung one, possibly two songs...

I didn't really like the two main singles as much as the rest of the album tho'. The other songs were more representative of their live and very musical gigs. Best described as 'Light Alloy' Rock I guess.

They had three albums. Made lots of money. They were huge in South America too! The guitarist got institutionalised after just going bonkers. The flute/kbd player sadly took his own life after being accused of plagiarism, after adding a few notes from a popular children's song, and the lead...

I used to be their sound guy..... LOL.....
