Is the RTR market soft ?

I've repaired/sold quite a few over the last couple years, Sony's, Tascams, Teac's, some Revox and Technics etc........ If ya got the right machines with the right options, they go pretty quick. Also, having customers who request certain machines and have them shipped to me for service makes...

I'm looking for PL400 4.5" analog Vu meters or replacements

I have never had a 400B. I have built a couple 400 II's for myself but I don't take them in for work. All I got for 400 parts is a couple new fans for the back.

We still laugh at Bob Caver for his penchant for gadgets....... Hmmmm, And he was a genius (or was that a gimmick to go with his gadgets???)

WANTED to Buy L/R PL-19 boards (the ones with the bias transistor and p-strap)

Looking for a pair of boards to replace the boards in a PL-200B. I'm rebuilding a PL-200 II, and I also have this 200B with the older boards in it and want to put the better 200 II boards in it. Let me know if you got a set (of boards) Thanks BUY/SELL/TRADE

Are the days of cheap 400/700s done.

Just found a local 8 fin 400 II for a pretty good price for a working amp. I was thinking of grabbing it. If the custom faceplates were available with the holes for the power/sensitivity (looks like the 700 II) switch like the one I got from Glen, I would. That way I would have a pair of...

Yup, 4 fin is lame. Unless you stay below 5 watts. Ya gotta love the Star Trek 4000. You'll get to the Neutered Zone faster than the Cling-ons I'm ready..... Call BR-549

Are the days of cheap 400/700s done.

You can't go wrong building a WOPL. In my book, it's the best amp to hit the market sound wise and power wise and VALUE wise since I could find the power button as a wee lad. Now I'm an old fuck and still have yet to find a better amp. Ever since the wind bag politicians said "A Chicken In...

Yes, 700's come in Series II also (notice I said 700B and II) and the power output mean's resale when it comes to bad times (tariffs etc....). And, "RARELY" means that you have pushed it so why buy a Yugo when you can have a Corvette FOR THE SAME PRICE??? You'll never get shit out of a Yugo...
