    with a little trial and error you could probably get very close to the above by integrating some decent supertweeters and a sub with the 901's. in my mind the most difficult task would be finding the right tweeter.

    a guy i knew in the Air Force around 1980 had a pair of short but stout CV's (looked like end tables) he got at the BX overseas. they sounded quite good and were a very capable speaker and i'm pretty sure the woofers were 15". i dont recall the model and i've never seen or heard of any other...
