If I was going through all the trouble of re-installing windows I would do a clean install not an upgrade though. As long as you have a win 7 coa you should be able to instal win 7 on that computer, otherwise your installation will time out.
I trouble shooted it down to spybot seartch and destroy. I uninstalled it and now everything works as it should. It was some sort of real time protection and and option i n the right contex menu that isn't totally compatible with win 10.
Window explorer is fine, If I right click on a card i nthe card reader it crashes win explorer. If I click on the sd card on the left hand side of the screen then I can explore what is on the card. I blame it on old drivers for the car reader. Nothing else seems to be effected so I am not...
I would think any kind of sand-able putty should work? Can't imaging once you fill it in it is under much pressure. The trick would be sanding down smooth and back to the size and shape it should be.
Just be aware that this update takes as long or longer then it did to upgrade to win 10 in the first place. And don't be alarmed by the message your files are where you left them which appears for several minutes during the update. :toothy5:
I received a huge update late last night, not sure if that was it or not? Everything seems to work good in win 10 except for Win explorer and sd cards in card reader. Sometimes when I try to open the root folder explorer closes.
