It is like $38 per 12 ounce aerosol can Lee. Great stuff but not inexpensive. It evaporates crazy fast so it is like watching $$ go into thin air...

I don't go any stronger than 91-99% isopropyl generally, multiple passes however. 3M Novec in an aerosol can is absolutely the best flux remover ever, but it is very expensive

Cleaning is easier if you have one of these hog hair flux cleaning brushes. Very stiff bristles get to the residue.

Appears you used K44 rosin core flux Lee. Very tough to clean with alcohol. Multiple washes and copious amounts required. The NoClean 245 washes clean much easier than K44.

Lee It probably won't matter much in your application but the caps on the snubber board are designed to be soldered on the backside of the board, in the shadow of the bridge rectifier. In that way, it keeps them out of the way of the wiring activity on the top side of the snubber board.

Totally different Jim. MOSFET have a positive tempco D-S unlike bipolars that have a negative tempco B-E. You can directly parallel MOSFETs and they will self balance as long as you have gate damping resistors to eliminate parasitic oscillations between the devices sharing the load.

Probably MOSFET tho...
