what are you listening to?

I set the Model One Time Machine to 1970, and these two classics popped up.
I bought both of these LP’s when they came out in 1970. The Mason Proffit album
has their hit “Two Hangmen.” This was a big favorite with the people I ran with back then; we often listened to it on 8-Track in the car, great memories.
The Deja-Vu album is the first LP that CSN&Y produced together, Neil Young’s first appearance with
the group on an LP. If it’s been a while since you heard this album, give it a listen, it will put a smile on your face. If you have never heard it, pull it up on streaming, and listen, it is a masterpiece, it is time really well spent.
Unbelievable sound stage and imaging with the Model One.

Set the Model One Time Machine for 1959-1962 and these two popped up.
Both are excellent examples of Hard Bop and wonderful to listen to.
A little trumpet, and a little piano, with all the fixins'.

This one is for Lee ! He mentioned it the other day.
Had to dig a little but this copy is in mint shape, still in shrink.
I remember buying this is at a “head shop”, record store in Cedar Falls Ia. On “The Hill.”
The owners knew me by name, and I bought a lot of vinyl from them.
They had an Old English Sheepdog that they shaved to keep him cool,
so he did not look at all like a sheepdog. He always greeted people coming into that shop.
I did not own a TV through most of the 70’s and the radio station KUNI was always introducing
new music. Great memories, and I still have every LP I bought when I lived there.
Hope you are home by now Lee, this album has your favorite Sea Level tune: “That’s Your Secret”.
Time Machine back to a very good time in my life, listening to this today, takes me right back there.
