I know we all get tired of reading these type of posts, but...

Having checked all the usual sources, eBay, Craigslist, Audio Mart, Reverb, Audiokarma, etc. I have had no luck finding a pair of PL400 VU Meters.
If anyone has a pair (of meters) I need them for a customer's PL400. They can be rough or dirty, I don't care. I will clean them and try to restore them if they have a bent pointer, etc.

I used to have a spare pair, and I gave them to another technician, thinking I would not need them.

Thanks,
Mark

How much is your customer willing to spend? Are they willing to be the trailblazer for the new White Oak Audio 400 front panel with White Oak Audio meters?

Sure I'll bite. Maybe Joe will give me an allowance for a review here after the installation of the new Meters and Faceplate?
Unfortunately, my customer is not a wealthy man, more of a senior on a fixed income kind of guy. (He had two bolts holding a scratched Faceplate on his PL400).

I still don't see the Faceplate or the Meters on Joe's website...

Faceplate = $115
Meters = 2x $60 = $120
Meter Board Kit (pair) = $45
Meter Sub Panel Bracket (pair) = $20.70

Total = $300.70

In addition, you will need:
Main Power Switch = $24.72
Level Potentiometers = 2x $3.87 = $7.74
Sensitivity Switch = $4.26
Don Imlay's triac switch = $ Market Price

This investment will get you a really sexy new faceplate design for your old PL400
