The last 700 I bought was for $180 bucks on our local Kijiji
But that was a couple of years back....
The guy said I was the only one to inquire!
And If they do come up now they are generally listening for $900 -$2000 around here....
400's come up more ofter but pricey also !
Now, I'm not anywhere near Ottawa but that's what's out there today....

Yes, 700's come in Series II also (notice I said 700B and II) and the power output mean's resale when it comes to bad times (tariffs etc....). And, "RARELY" means that you have pushed it so why buy a Yugo when you can have a Corvette FOR THE SAME PRICE??? You'll never get shit out of a Yugo if you have to sell it. A Corvette on the other hand??? It just makes financial sense but if you want to pay for a lesser amp power wise, you go for it. A 400 II is an excellent amp but the market shows it aint worth a 700 II. When you bought your car, did you purposely look for the smallest motor you could find? And, I'll bet you HAVE floored it a couple times. CMON man.......

You can't go wrong building a WOPL. In my book, it's the best amp to hit the market sound wise and power wise and VALUE wise since I could find the power button as a wee lad. Now I'm an old fuck and still have yet to find a better amp. Ever since the wind bag politicians said "A Chicken In Every Pot" and "A WOPL In Every Rack" the public, has spoken. They don't taste like chicken but they sound a fuck ton better and I have tasted a lot of amps.

A couple of posts back I copied some local links for some Phase gear in the Ottawa area...

I just sent him a message asking to clarify the asking price of $2,150 for a 400 & 4000. ( as in seriously ) ?
He responded with a rambling reply about international shipping costs and CND vs USD value....
How rare the pieces are etc. And he ended the rant with "whats wrong with my price" !

If anyone is bored or feels like a scrap this guy is raring to go !



I think Perry work be a good one to email this guy with questions !
