Hello members,

I have been working on this unit for a while. One channel is showing high DC voltage on the terminals. The other channel is working fine.
The differential pair transistors have been swapped with NTE199, the output transistors are MJ series. The BIAS on the bad channel is stuck at 350 mv and not adjustable.
I took some voltages at the pins of the differential pair transistors and they are very different one channel to another. Unit has been fully recapped, the emitter resistors are good.

An easy solution to this issue is a new White Oak Audio Dual Mono Control Board. The added benefits are state of the art technology and better architecture than the original antique Phase Linear control board, superior reliability from the best parts available today, and a substantial improvement in the quality of the audio signal with more stereo separation and less distortion.

It can be delivered to you with simple and fully illustrated installation instructions for only $350.00. The price will be $400.00 in 2025. If you are interested, send me a PM (click on my post name).
