HP 3478A 5.5 Digit Digital Multimeter

Oldschool DMM that takes up a lot of bench real-estate, but can anyone recommend it for measuring mV (has 100nanovolt sensitivity apparently).
Can pick one up close to me for a very few shekels. Any better budget-oriented options?

I have that exact model number HP DMM. Excellent instrument, build like HP used to be built. 4 wire capability is nice when you need it.

Thx. Does it also beep on continuity?

Did you replace any of the EL caps? power supply caps, smoothing etc?
Backup battery?

No beeping on continuity, just tells you resistance reading.
No battery backup
I have not done anything to it, it just works...

No biggy re the beep. Can always use my cheapo mm.
Started researching this unit and evidence suggests that it has an internal battery to keep ram stable.
