It works ! I simply rotate a little screw on laser assy ( laser power ? ) There are two screws and I moved first the right one . I was very very lucky ! Fifty fifty ! This was the last attempt . Now the unit is under observation , but tested with many DVDs and CDs . Happy Easter to all and ciao...

Is there auto focus function ? Probably yes , but I'm not sure . In some YT videos they simply remove laser assy and replace it with a new one . Considering that you can buy a Sony Blu Ray player for 100 € , probably it's not worth reparing it . It's a pity to throw it away ! Ciao Marco
