what are you listening to?

Actually an even older 1009 SK. It's been totally reconditions, and the plinth refinished, dampened and spiked. I've even got all the accessories, long spindle for stacking and even the 45 stacker and a mint condition smoked dust cover. I basically plan on keeping this thing forever. I've tried a couple more modern tables and they sounded fine to me, but this one sounds just as good in my estimation and has all the convenience of auto stop and being able to play 78s and such. I honestly look at megabuck tables with vague curiosity but no desire to switch from this one even if I had big money to spend.

Very sweet! If is sounds good( and looks good), no need to "upgrade". Spend your hard- earned cash on more music and oxide.

I really only stack 78s and 45s. One song and then back up to change the record just don't work for me. And I have no valuable 78s or 45s anyway.

Was rocking this earlier(among other things)

god only knows what's on the tv in the bedroom, it's just background

haven't heard a train for over half an hour, until I started to type this and think I heard a short pull on the horn but nothing followed

must be in the distance

it will be here shortly

this is what quiet is like here and it isn't that common just sitting here

then again it could be a resonant frequency of something

I sleep with the tv or radio low

you'll not need a subscription to rolling stone now and it wasn't vulgar

like the so-called poetry there
