How do I do that? Just a straight positive to negative measurement on the multimeter? I've seen the power as low as 236 and as high as 264 on my ups display. Currently its 250. I estimate the average is 246-255.
 
Meter on AC, range 200, one lead in the ground slot, the other in the neutral, see what that reading is, then keep one lead in the ground and he other in the hot slot.

Ground to Neutral reads nothing. Ground to Positive reads 247.

Derek: It's nice to see the pre-recorded tapes getting some love. I have a few left from my once large collection of pre-recorded cassette tapes. Perhaps, it would be worthy of having a pre-recorded tape thread?

re power: you gotta remember our power is Aussie made for tougher conditions, and the fact that we spin backwards to the nthn hemisphere, so it doubles up.
our power can kill ya in half the time your 'merikan's can.
