When the 250 member mark is met a countdown clock will appear in the Bryson Giveaway thread. It will run for 7 days . At the end of that 7 days a random number generator will pick a number. All qualified members will be assigned a number by my wife drawing your names out of a hat that I will put in from a business card blank with your name on it.

TO QUALIFY____ Don't get banned and have 10 posts!!!

Guess I'll have to be careful not to get banned or get my ass kicked before then! I've know that I've exceeded 10 posts - some of which were actually audio related.

Wow Lee, that is a very nice gesture you are offering to the forum.

Ive heard of Bryston. But never used any of their equipment. They are located in town here in Peterborough. Ive heard its quite solid gear.

Thanks for offering up a Bryston B4 amplifier, Lee, as a commemorative gift. I know who has a whole swag of 4B amps:

That's enough to deafen the entire roller rink with one reverse skate announcement, Nando...

Well built stuff, guaranteed for twenty years. This one will be guaranteed for 2 years.

Ha, Even more wow. Just offering the amp alone is a large enough gift. A 2 year on top of that.... Whoever ends up with it should be quite happy id say.

I would think so. I originally bought it in Denver to see how well it stacked up power wise and sonically to a WOPL 1000. Cost 800.00 I believe. And although it's a good sounding amp, I'm partial to the WOPL's.

It would still serve as a great backup power amp to those that might have big power already. Could be a massive upgrade for others.

I personally would like to have a third (working) power amp, for rotating pieces in need of service. 1 of my 1801's is popped, the other in the shop, and my Yorkville AP800 could use a trip to the factory itself...

Any Yammy T-85s on that shelf?

Could spend some time looking through that collection...Looks like possibly a TM-1001 on the upper left shelf.

Never mind that alcove, Lee. Just check out the back room. That's my favorite part of the store.

Nando.
