Model ONE Build - S/N 0005 & 0006

I am impressed with the Cabbage Case folks. The area under the heatsinks is now reinforced with PVC or Poly, the belly of the amp sits on the same stuff. Much stiffer foam and the amp is snug when in position and can't really move. The inside of the case looked new after unloading the amp. The outside is getting that respectable Road Warrior look already. I am tickled with the results....I better be for 800.00....

The rack is getting some tweaks. I am wiring the power directly into the back of the receptacles with a KELVIN CONNECTION. One less variable. Taking my time, rerouting signal and power wires. Cable ties used extensively.
I am now XLR FROM the Oppo to the Rowland, the Rowland to the Ashly, the Ashly to the White Oaks, with just the PL 300 ruining that scheme...

Did you take off the transistor covers Lee?

It took some extreme volume on Fear Inoculum to kick the thermoswitches...... very well behaved coming back on....

Definaterly better sound quality than a WOPL'd B.....as loud and clear as I've ever had the k's go....DAYAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Randy and a couple other fellers were over, they just left.....wandering off and talkin to themselves....

Much better control of the low end....no flab ..just instataneous get im!!can't say enough about these....God what an amp!!!!

THANKS JOE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hookay, 4" 24 DCfans mounted to the heatsinks. 1" aluminum angle. The heatsinks are PRE-DRILLED at the White Oak factory for just this situation. And to underscore Joe's MO.... they are pretty drilled with an 8-32------ TAP DRILL!!!

Lee,
I see the fans are not wired in yet. Can they be wired direct, powered by the 25va torroid, tripped by the thermostat switches?
