Spence, my bad... I forgot to tell you to turn it up before starting the performance.

On the other hand, Lee must have had his K-horns set on Authoritative. Art Art baby!!!

No kidding, this performance transcends art.

For example, let's say that you have a friend who just hasn't been themselves lately. Send this link to their work email -- I have no doubt that you will receive a call with them laughing & asking WTF is wrong with you?

Don't ask me how I figured this out.

3D

PS - I'm glad that you fellas didn't disappoint...you guys are the real deal!

You know what, I haven't heard that in over a decade. But when I read J!m's comment, suddenly all I could hear was this otherworldly caterwauling in my mind's ear...
If that sticks in my minds ear for a decade.....I'm going to remove it... with a screwdriver.

Spence,

Sometimes I listen to the popular stuff...but now & again when I get bored I find myself a little off the beaten path, sonically speaking.

Back in the glory days of college FM radio, I was living in southern NH, and actually put up a directional FM antenna in order to be able to pick up WZBC in clean stereo, run by the students of Boston College. You know how today nearly all of the radio stations play the same 2 dozen songs over & over?

Well, WZBC had still has this show called No Commercial Potential. You absolutely could not predict what you would hear on any given evening.

As it turns out, Yoko is not the only avant-garde game in town. Who'da thunk?

You can't make this stuff up...but they can! :0)

I like a very wide variety of music from classical to reggae, even can appreciate some of the Aboriginal and Native American chanting but that guttle primal screaming stuff is not for me. For sound to be music, it must have a pattern and be repeatable otherwise you get the same thing from a 2 year old with a shitty diaper.

Listen, once upon a time couldn't you get a small batch of 45 rpm records made for not-too-much-moolah? You know, for promotional material kinda things. I actually seem to remember little square 45s that you could cut off the back of a cereal box & listen to Toucan Sam? Or did I hallucinate this?

That 'song' is short enough to fit. If I could get that on a 45 I would dedicate myself to finding one of these...

Imagine the possibilities. I for one would go to the most self-serious of all audio shows & share the wealth...
