I'm not all familiar with European mains plugs. Maybe there are different types? Maybe the plug needs changed. Probably best that these need to go to a tech or "specialist" as I think they say in England. They can determine the required voltage and bring them up safely with the Variac and check them out.I see a label 240 VAC ( typical UK AC voltage ) and a neon bulb .
To be sure the right thing to do is to use a Variac if you have .
The mains connector probably is Bulgin , but I'm not sure .

your right Lee. I looked first at using them but I was needing one for each machine and the price for used was higher than this setup.You can also take a 3 phase variable speed drive and input single phase and ouitput 3 phase..with a severe derating..
