Hi all, i am looking for three 240v (uk) power supply

It's for the 400, they were imported into the UK by Pink Floyd for their touring rig in mid 70's

The 400s are wired for 240 and you're looking to run them on 120? Export models were often a dual primary transformer. Post a pic of the transformer connections...

Those aren't 400s, they are Dual 500s, basically a 1000. The power supply transformers are inside them where you can't see them. They may or may not have a dual primary transformer that can be rewired for US or export use. Grapplesaw is the guru on these and he would know.
Hopefully he'll see this thread and will comment.

Your in England, right. Those are marked Fridge Properties London. Have to assume you can plug them in and use them provided they work. Or are they still 120v?

I see a label 240 VAC ( typical UK AC voltage ) and a neon bulb .
To be sure the right thing to do is to use a Variac if you have .
The mains connector probably is Bulgin , but I'm not sure .

I'm not all familiar with European mains plugs. Maybe there are different types? Maybe the plug needs changed. Probably best that these need to go to a tech or "specialist" as I think they say in England. They can determine the required voltage and bring them up safely with the Variac and check them out.

The dual 500 has windings for making 120 or 240

The plug you have there is a 250 volt 30 amp twist lock type. Nice heavy duty plug. Hubbel or the like make the mating cable ends.

I had to build a idler motor setup to get three phase Lee It uses a 1/2hp single phase motor to spin up a 25hp 240v three phase motor. When it is spinning then apply single phase 240v to two of the three legs. The 25 hp motor generates the third leg and feeds my lathe and mill and any other items I may get. It good to supply at least 18hp of current load.

You can also take a 3 phase variable speed drive and input single phase and ouitput 3 phase..with a severe derating..

your right Lee. I looked first at using them but I was needing one for each machine and the price for used was higher than this setup.
