Yesterday, Geri and I ran a few errands in town. I had to pick up my Pioneer RT-1020L from Innovative Audio, as it had a full servicing completed on it. I love this old Pioneer, above even my other decks. While there, Geri looked around the record section and picked out a few albums for her daughter. Yes, she's into records, now, too, as I set her up with a simple system, which sounds much better than her room mate's current system. I don't think he will be pleased his system is taking a back seat to hers. Ouch!

Innovative Audio had some interesting components for sale. Gordon tempted me with a hugely discounted price on a pair of JBL L200 Studio Masters, which had just come into the store. He knocked $1,200 off the sticker price. After listening to the L300s, I'm convinced these speakers are amongst the best I've heard so far. The L200s I looked at were in phenomenal condition!

And take a look at this monster Marantz 2500 receiver rated at 250 watts per channel.

Or how about this Garrard turntable:

And tube gear:

Here's the record/media section where Mark is helping Geri pick out some albums:

Some more gear:

Once the store reopens after holidays are over in September, Gordon has a lot of new stock to organize for display, including a pair of Tannoy GRF Memory TW speakers.

Hi Nando,

Great photos to tease us with once again...... So you restrained yourself from taking those JBL's home. Ha, A guy with will-power is so rare these days! :)

I started working on the traveling tape this afternoon but the Teac A7300 has a bit of wow and flutter when it's not all nice and warm. Not sure what is up with that! Guess I am going to have to take another look-see one of these days. The Pioneer is still working great so may have to move that one back into the living room for the short term.

Hello Robert,

Aren't those JBL L200 Studio Masters tempting? Hold it, you are working on a Traveling Reel Tape? Who will you be circulating it to?

Thanks Web! Anywhere I go I always ask for the Italian discount. Most times, people laugh and say,"In that case, the price just went up 50%."

Hi Nando,

Yes, those JBL's look pretty nice! I have some near field JBL monitors and they kick butt for their size. At the moment they are hooked to the SX-850.

I'll send you the tape, but I need to actually make it first!!!! It will be awhile with all the things on my to-do list.

I remember having many of the components in that Pioneer rack (tan stuff). Nice stuff there are those NS1000 MM's?

Geez Nando, I should mail you a couple 100 minty records and see if he wants to sell them LMAO!!! Looks like he needs a bigger selection. He's got the 8 tracks covered though!!! If you EVER see KISS The Original 2 tape set, LMK as that is one of the ones missing from my colelction

Ron: I have to update this thread, as it has been awhile since I last posted recent pictures. The records posted on the wall were not all that was for sale. I will post more recent pictures taken this year.

The Kiss The Original in 8-track? If I see it, I will get it for you.
