what are you listening to?

Going to spin my copy of this shortly, always looking for an upgrade. Not my image but same lp, my camera battery is dead

It would be cool if ZZ Top reissued their first album as a dual 45rpm set. I love how my original sounds, quiet as hell and just so analogy!!!!

I agree 100% the og London label is awesome. So analogy is a great way to put it. Mine isn't super quiet but decent. I deff would love a 45rpm reissue. I have a reissue of rio grande mud that's pretty damn nice. But still can't touch that blue London label!

So we can now go from describing a comparison to describing a characteristic just by emphasis on different syllables ........

My smart-ass roars to the forefront when we have breakfast with Tim and Biggsie...before ....you know...

When Ron posted it was very " ANALOGY" that can be meant 2 ways depending on how you pronounce it. Put the emphasis on the 2nd syllable and it's a comparison, put the emphasis on the 3rd syllable and make it a long "O" and you are describing a sound.....

I had this also but Chris now owns it. I still have the dual 7" stereo set of this though which is pretty cool. People claim the SQ of the 7" eps far surpass the quality of the big 33's

Nice!

Very cool! 45 RPM sounds better to me, Ron. Most notably less pronounced surface noise and maybe a tad more dynamic on the low end, but the convenience of the 33RPM is so nice.......

Agree, on both counts for SQ and convenience.

This one of my personal gems! 1974 japanese press! On Kama sutra label but Nippon Columbia Japan. The sq is amazing! It's quiet as a mouse!!!! I love it. I can't find any info on it except the ebay listing I bought it from
