Goin Fishin Guys, Keep a Firm Grip On It...

I'm back. The fishing was lousy, all they were thinking about was SEX!! Damn fish. Caught 7 fgish in 10 days. Lasr 3 days got skunked. But had a great time. Jani and I did a lot of hiking and disconvered 2 spring creeks we hadn't seen before and tracked 1 all the way to it's head where it sprouted out of a bunch of rocks.. had agreat time with Timdalf and Biggsie. Lot's of pics comin but not tonight. After 10 days I have more messages and e-mails than I know what do do with...
 
breakin it in.havent shut it off since i got it!!!! its changing as it breaks in.. was that 700 at you door from washington??

LOL !!!! good i can sleep knowin it arrived.
as far as the pre goes i like it, but with the a board 400. the pioneer might still edge it out. now if i use the pioneer as the power amp it sounds worse than it does through the 400. but using the 939 as a intergrated it wins. im hoping with a fc wopl 1000 it will match really well..
 
What??? Does the PL pre sound better through the 400 than the 939 pre section going through the 400?

Whew!! Had me worried for a minute there. Ya got a good one there Bud...for what ya paid a helluva deal. How's Ron diggin on the 700??

Hes digging it I think! How can't ya lol! This pre is nice and I do like the phono stage a lot also. But the 939 as a intergrated is very nice sounding. But when you use it as a pre it sucks lol. So it must really match it's amp section. It from 1974.4 years before the 1250 even came out!!! I think I got a line on another 400 also!! Email or pm me what parts usally cost to do a fc 1000 WOPL when you get a few!
 
From what Ed Blackwood tells me that phono section is TITS!! And I did'nt F&^% with it at all, other than replacing the electro's.. the 939 is a RECEIVER.....NOT an integrated....jeez...and that amp section ought to quake in the presence of a 400. Must be something wrong with it...
