When labels stopped major vinyl publishing?

I'm collecting vinyls from the 70's & 80's. Mostly rock and metal. I want to complete the full discography of some artists I love. Most of them were active and producing in the 90's or even in 00's. But unfortunately, I can't find the later albums on vinyl.

So, when the old, pure analog vinyl was hugely abandoned?

Are there any labels/artists who still publish in pure analog vinyl?

By 1980, even vinyl releases were switching largely to digital tracking and mastering. By 85 CD was rising fast. Still plenty of records but much easier to find CDs post-85 because that’s what the labels were pushing.
