Vern (Gagne) and Andre (The Giant) 700 Series II Clair WOPL Enforcers Are completed. Doing Burn in on Andre (finished Him Last night) today and tomorrow. Pics will Be Posted ASAP.

Here is a recap of what has been going on.

[h=2]The long long long road[/h]
Now comes the long process of transformers, tearing down the face assemblies, cleaning all the switches, knobs and shit...... This will take a while. Not including the building of the backplanes, control boards and the mile of wire to rig the chassis'.

This group is "The Enforcers". I'm breaking with tradition of naming them with fluffy chick names. The will be the hard working guys. They look pretty, but don't let that fool ya... They are ALL BUSINESS...

They end their old life like this.....

And start their new life like this..

sucked out the old solder and pulled old wire tails... many hours on this shit...

oh, lets not forget the funky transformers. They suck up a HUGE amount of time..... Guess I should quit goofing off and get cookin.....

Got the back planes fitted and installed. Working on the control boards (I bought 2 kits). One for Vern, one for the next project. Pardon my Heater, never know who's gonna pop up out here on the border.

Well, I have the other 2 consecutive numbers amps and I can't justify (to the wife) having 4 Clair amps plus I've been on the search for a SAE A1001 or P-500 for my collection AND I have 2 finished WOPL's sitting here completed. I just missed out on 2 cherry A-1001 amps which sold this weekend (I have a finders fee too if you know anybody with the SAE A-1001 or P-500).
