Technics Rubber Mat as well on my SL-1200's
Seems to do the trick. My turntable came with a felt slip mat which always liberated itself from the platter whenever I went to flip a record. Not an issue with this one.

My favorite so far is a homemade card stock paper and cork dots. Use a Thunderon record brush with it. So far the best anti static set up for me.

Just tried a fancy cork mat but have gone back to oem rubber mat on the Pioneer PL-707. I can use the album weight with the oem.

Might try cork dots mounted directly to the platter some day, but the Technics rubber mat seems to be doing the trick for me right now. Very low humidity where I live and am always battling static.

Broken beyond repair but highly affable

I would have more problems with resonance at the deck than static, so I have a couple heavy rubber mats.
