Thank you for posting these.
My main turntable is a 1957 Thorens TD-124 that I bought in 1970, and have kept in top shape all these years.
I added the SME arm right away back then.
I also bought a Phillips GA212 in 1972, used it in college, and about 1980 put it away in favor of the Thorens.
I recently pulled the GA212 out, and went through it, new caps, bulbs, and adjustments. It is working like new now.
It was fun to see the Phillips featured here. Simple, and very dependable.

I am very lucky as i have been to the actual HiFi collection in Transylvania! I did a road trip a couple of years ago, and meet up with two great guys ( Members of another audio forum.... ****heads ) in Cluj.

Both had extensive collections .... Myself and Mrs PC stayed with one of the families for a number of days and was made completely welcome by everyone - We had a fab time!
