Testing a wall wart

With me shacking as I do. I have t figure a way to test the inside portion w/o hitting ground. I guess I could heat shrink a small piece of wire and leave very little bare. Or make an adapter to plug it into.. I have one to test and see though. Does any one have a better Idea?

Are you talking about the iside conductor of a coaxial plug? The best way would be to buy a matching jack and test from the terminals. This tests both the plug and its connection into the jack because you could have a bad wall wart or a bad plug. I think Radio Shack sells a universal kit or maybe the exact part.
