PL 700 Caps - Group Buy

What about something like this? We buy a lot from Digi-Key and have very good service from them. The price point is reasonable but I don't know what the lead time is.

This is a possible candidate for a group buy. They're rated to 160 V with a 200 V surge and the 15,000 microfarad cap is under $30 each with a minimum purchase of 20.

Just thinking out loud.... If Digikey has the ability to get the 15K's, even if not showing on their item master, would it not be a long-shot to say their expeditor can get a hold of the 18's?

Looks like a winner. Future was the other option but they would have to order too. Most lead times are 17-22 weeks...

Figured I'd move this into it's own thread guys. If everyone here is serious, I am too... I'd jump on a group buy in a heartbeat for these caps. I think 15K's should be plenty of reserve for a 700, and feel a whole lot "safer" if they're rated at 150 volts (thinkin' bout a recent incident where a mushroom cloud appeared on Richard's beastie.. heheh)

So we know the minimum is 20... First off how many are willing to commit??

ps.. I did inquire 'bout the 18's... bah... never hurt to ask, but the 15's are "it" from DK for now...

Hi Guys,

This is my first post on this forum. Laatsch55 has been helping me over on AudioKarma.org with a PL 700 B I picked up at a junk store.

I'm in for a pair of these 700 B PS caps. One of these days i hope to get this beast running again.
