Pioneer GM-40 Amplifier

These date back to 1979 when I originally bought them for my first car, a 1970 Buick Skylark Custom. Back then my starter set was an all Pioneer system consisting of: cassette deck, an amplifier, and one pair of surface mount two-way speakers in die-cast aluminum enclosures purchased from the Hudson's Bay Company for about $600. I bought a second amplifier, then a third, as I experimented with multiple amps driving separate speakers.
