Phase Linear 1000 refurb and upgrade questions

New here to the forum...have 2 Phase Linear 1000's that will need recap, cleaning and new RCA jacks and possibly mods? At one point I knew where some great threads on doing this were. Can no longer find them...an author who comes to mind is James Van Dyke for mods. Wonder if someone could point me in the right direction, this will be my 1st venture into doing this. Thanks much...
