I suggest an other little " trick " to finish black alu .
After retouching small scratches with Birchwood blackener ,
polish alu with deox and a cloth . It works ! Like new !
Yes deox ( not dry ) !

Important ! I tested deox on the on the finns .
I don't know if there are problems with silkscreens !
Always test before in a hidden corner !

Last adjustment : lighting the plastic mask evenly .
It took me 1/2 hour to rotate the two big bulbs .
The trick is to have the lamp filament in parallel with the
front panel . This is the story from " Flame Linear" to a
" factory made " Phase Linear 700B "with " happy end ".
Long job , but very good result "
Total cost : approx 430 €.
The most important thing is that my father is very happy .
