Don't underestimate the possibilities of using the older TDK D cassettes. Here is an example of one of the good ones from TDK:

Nando, how do I find out about A.N.T. Mods and such. I have a Nakamichi RX-202 that sounds pretty good I think anyhow. By the way, did you know that if you tap spell check for "Nakamichi" the closest it comes up with is "Michigan" . Weird.

Also in TDK’s “D” series were DS-X and SD. WIde variety with TDK!
