Your ears are definitely going to be ringing after that concert, Ben. Where is Megadeth playing at? Big venue?

I only seen megadeth once in 1994 and they might take the cake for worst live show I ever seen lol. Dave mustaine was horrible sounding on vocals. I hope there a lot better nowadays. Last nights show was excellent. I was a little worried that it would be a typical casino show. We arrived at the casino and noticed we werent the only ones who brought beer for a few drinks at the trunk of the car before going inside. Once inside I quickly noticed there was Megadeth shirts everywhere. I thought to myself this isnt the "usual" casino crowd.

Megadeth was great. The setlist consisting of mainly older tunes. They fired up the show with Hangar 18 and My Last Words. By the time my last words came on most of the casino crowd was filtering out. They played one newer song, Public Enemy #1, from their Thirteen album and that was the only newer material they played. Most of the crowd was standing for this show, which was a first I had seen for a show at Rama. The place was nuts actually, all things considered. They rounded out the show with, Symphony Of Destruction, and Peace Sells as an encore.

Dave was in fine form and his guitar playing was phenomenal. The band was tight, like listening to a studio album. Guitar solo's were spot on. I believe it was last year Megadeth started tuning down, as Dave's voice had been suffering from hitting the high notes. It definitely made a huge difference, as it seemed there wasnt a note he couldnt hit. Was a great show from start to finish and I can definitely say I would go see Megadeth again any time.

I also ran into 2 old friends from up north that I had not seen in 10+ years. It was great seeing those guys, and made think what a small world it is sometimes.

Glad the show was good, Ben and it is always nice to run into old friends at a concert.
