FM : Fantastic . Very great sound and selectivity .
Probably a legacy of Richard Sequerra ; he was the RF designer for Marantz
MW : very good
LW : O. K. with Filodiffusione ( no noise and whistles )
Aux , Phono , Tape monitor O.K. ( tested with a sine wave oscillator )
20 db att. : perfect ( tested with a little headphone power amp ) .
Tested with Sennheiser HD 414 and Akg Studio Monitor .
Added a 16 A relay to modify service outlet from unswitched to switched .
Very easy to implement without destroying anything .( 22,000 pF included )
The mechnical design is very good : very easy for servicing .
It wil be work with PL 1000 and PL 700 .
At present I have no speakers , but the idea is AR 3A . Next year , because I'm a tycoon.
Conclusion : it' s a perfect tuner preamp !
Possible improvment : adding a real pre output and a remote volume control ( external )
