Isolation Material

I've only had one tube radio develop microphonics in the last five years and suspect I helped it by putting a 12" speaker in my Silvertone 4589. The amp will dish it but I must have shaken it up pretty good. It seemed a good idea at the time as it has a 12" opening (normally a ring adapter for a 6" or 8" speaker would be in there.

I have yet to really conquer a jumpy CD player, usually single disc and I don't think such materials are a real solution for me when that happens. You can adjust the tray but for me it's still a crapshoot.

I looked at that but couldn't find where to buy it. So I got this.

Larry

Great price for a dynamat type material. The EAR stuff I linked isn't the same type of application (stuff). You did good Larry. If you want vibration isolation grommets, varying densities of foam layers and whatnot - EAR is the way to go. For panel treatments, the stuff you picked up is the bee's knees.
