With the newfound audio Nirvana found within the PLWO 700's upgradablity, how did I win a cherry PL700 on the bay for little more than $200? I was amazed, seeing as the previous two went for about $400 ea! Only issue with cosmetics is a tinted glass meter on the one side.

It will be my third, and coicidentally, two of three have come out of DesMoines, IA.

Looks like ya got the bug too. I don't think it is terminal unless you are married, in which case you may want to get everything in order and plans made.

Just kidding. Great score. I know this is very contagious. One of the symptoms is an obsessive complusive component, wherein symmetry becomes very important. You will have to have two of everything. I LOVE my 700B and 400 ser I and can't wait to be symmetrical with the addition of matching amps. These 700's are sooo powerful it is scary. I am worried about Lee and his 1.3 kw project. I don't know if there are speakers capable of handleing the power, so I am thinking he will need to have additional speakers.....(symmetry)....so I am afraid he may have been the one with the original strain of this malady..

If you now have three of the 700 amps, I am afraid you will be buying a fourth one..Just do not make the mistake of buying a 400 or something different as you will end up having to buy matching ones for anything you buy...

JUST FOOLIN

Already have a 400, but I think I really have enough PL's now. I still have an Accuphase P300 I need to get running as well, lots of projects on the shelf, so need to stop adding new ones. Lee's collection of PL stuff is huge compared to mine and it is a demonstration of the advanced progression of this malady at the Laatsch residence.

Not as advanced as before , I have actually parted with 5 PL amps recently, some may call it --Remission----

Maybe you are going back to your roots?

(Oh crap, I'm missing some roots, there are DEFINITELY LESS) :dontknow:
