From France .... "Excuse my English"

Some guys from the Phase linear / Carver Facebook group, said to post my request here....

Hi everyone, I'm new here, huge fan of Phase linear and Carver, last year, I had the chance to find a 700b, totally out of service and very dirt and rusty on buttons. It was rebuilt by the French specialist inside. Everything is recap and after few months of cleaning and electronic repair, it started a new life. I'm pretty impressed about the sound and the power. It's the best amplifier I heard.

There is just one problem and if someone can help me here , one view metter is broken (Nothing to do) and the technician can't do anything.
Impossible for me to find a new one in France . Do you have one for me in very good working condition please . Please Contact me by messenger if you can do something for me. Of course I can buy it and paying for the post cost. Thanks you very much and long life to the group!

Besides an amp that started on fire, I have never seen a meter that didn't work. Chances are you have another issue. They are pretty bulletproof. Do NOT BLOW AIR INTO A METER.

Yep, switch left and right and see if the problem follows. If it doesn't, likely the attenuation switch, wiring, or cold solder joint.

700B meters are nearly impossible to buy. Take the meter apart and look for dirt in the movement. Use a microscope or a magnifying glass. DO NOT BLOW THE METER out. Use some tweezers to remove any dirt/debris
