This week my lesson in science with granddaughter was about the Big Bang .We ended up the section with a look at this new galaxy that the Hubble captured .

She does question this concept a little but understands how the universe started small and is continuing to expand and cool down. The physics we know can explain this expansion form about 10to the -68 of a second after the Big Bang Before that our science does not necessarily apply.

This newly discovered galaxy is 13+ billion light years away Just think what happened over that time and when the James Webb is fully functioning with its low infrared light spectrum what wonders await us

It’s also interesting to learn how the different galaxies aligned to creat a magifying glass to see this through all the radiation and solar dust it’s a truly a one off thing

We found that one with a vintage telescope. I do believe we will find more, a lot more as our equipment gets better. Just as they found thousands of galaxies in an "empty" chunk of space that Hubble concentrated on to see it better, we have just begun looking deep into the universe.
