Grateful Dead Live at the Family Dog on the Great Highway

Just released Friday for Record store day, just got my copy, if you are a Deadhead this is a must. Recently Mountain Girl turned over some reel to reel tapes Bear had recorded of the show, it is an all acoustic show, 80 minutes of all acoustic Grateful Dead. They were billed as Mickey Hart and his Heartbeats and Bobby Ace and his Cards from the Bottom of the Deck. Recorded 1970.

Jim: That's a very limited run of vinyl being produced from the tapes. How does it sound?

I have about 250 shows if anyone is looking for specific ones 1969 and up IIRC. Been awhile since I pulled them out

Ditto. A friend of mine has all the show that are currently in circulation with multiple sources for many of them. Not an exact count, but around 2000 different shows in his possession. He shares them on a music hub, so if anyone is looking for a speciafic show, I would be glad to post link to the site.

There is one place that I have noticed some feedback, other than that is surprising how good it sounds, especially for its age and have been on r2r all that time and probably not stored under the best of conditions.

Another good one is Oddites and Rare Cuts from 1966
