He's going in for another surgery for the aortic aneurysm in his abdomen last November. It's definitely not going to be fun.

Bob is strong and has a good sense of humor. Nothing will come close to what he went through in November.

I hope so... I had another old friend from high school die last month from flu-related causes at 54, left 3 of 4 children surviving, her second husband and had just retired from the National Guard just last November after rejoining following 9/11. Still had eyes and a smile that would burn through the yearbook page and she was a pretty swell lady.

None of us has a permanent gig at the Opry, so we have to deal with life and do our best.
