Adding inputs

The simplest would be soldering a couple resistors in a summing network configuration. The next would be some resistors and a summing op amp. Next would be something like individual buffer amps on each new input summed together.

If you want something easy check out the slew of cheap audio mixing boards. For well less than $100 you can get all kinds of balanced and unbalanced inputs and patch points. Some of these are pretty darn nice for the price.

Dave may have a better option for those kits also. I believe Mark had some input also.
