I have a question about this modwright pre I got. It has a tubed input with a ss output. And it had been sent back and modded with a tubed rectifer . What does this all equate to lol. I understand the in and out but what is the benefit and what does the rectifier even do???

For some reason my USB ports stopped working. It won't regonize my dac. My external it try's but nvr fully loads it. I'm lost. Tried a restore back a couple weeks but still no go. And it won't find drivers for anything . It keeps saying get ahold of manufacture . And that's dac and external...
