    Well well well, the hum went away with no rca input connected, I use a schiit valhalla 2 as a preamp (for volume control) and an Audiocontrol C101. With C101 plugged in it hums! run just the Schiit. NO hum. Thanks to everyone for helping diagnose this issue.

    I had no room to get my snips under that tiny capacitor, I was able to delsolder the leads and push it out.

    I bought this amp from a photographer who took pics at rock concerts from the 70's till today. He said he bought the amp off Emerson lake and Palmer after the last show of their concert tour. 1974 or 1975 I think.
