I have no control because the product is not coming from me. I tried to get something moving with former ML dude but he didn’t reply to the information provided. Now a pre-production prototype is kicking Pass… Once I know it is available and who the company is I will let you guys know.

    Onkyo Preamp P-304

Other than my main rig, I have a complete Kenwood system from 1977 (including speakers and two cassette decks. The open reel deck is currently for sale and I’m looking for the original rack); two Tascam 122 mk. IIIs, Alesis HD24, the Nak deck I might finally get to, Tascam CDR-w402, Alesis...

    Gasoline prices Skyrocketing!

I hope diesel comes down below $6 by winter (assuming I get the rover on the road).

    Shure V15-V

My V15-III is really nice with a black Diamond on it and I’ve heard the Mk. V is even better… I guess I’ll see about it.

Should I grab it for $175 without a stylus? Seems like a good deal but figured I’d ask…

My stuff has been sitting idle too… Just the SX-880, Micro and some CD players around.

    phase linear 400

Yes, but mine is all factory, of course. I have the filter housing and the hoses, but I need the M Roadster radiator, oil cooler and lower shrouding to get it sorted out. That’s the easiest way. There’s a few ways to do it, including the Euro parts, but here used Roadster parts are cheaper.

    Onkyo Preamp P-304

It’s very well made and no sound if it’s own. I’m really pleased with my preamp.

S52. Also most of the oil cooler bits for my car. Never available in the US so I had to do a little kit bashing to sort out what I needed.

    Dual-500 king of the Castle

I learn best “the hard way” so I say go for it. Look at that phono pre I built. Never stuffed a board prior as that thing smokes a LOT of high dollar preamps. Good news: it may be available commercially soon. Bad news: it won’t be from my company. The designer (Wyn Palmer) was approached...

    Onkyo Preamp P-304

I’ve found using the number of features as an order of magnitude of the price you can get these two things to align. My old Perreaux seems to have found a balance- great sound and build quality and remote control!!!

    Feel a project coming on…

They only have to last to the end of the warranty period... But, I see similar stuff coming out of the aircraft engine industry. Remember, about ten years ago now, GE was boasting about having the first 3-D printed component on a turbine engine? Well, that was (a fuel nozzle) designed by a...

    Feel a project coming on…

I’m not changing the motor. If I did, I’d go to the S50 B32 Euro engine. These get 400 at the wheels a lot easier than our junk motor does. But that’s the challenge isn’t it? Does the N54 come with cam bearings? I just killed an N50 and learned the run the cam right in the aluminum head...

    700II sub panel pem nuts.

How about a bit of CA with baking soda to fix them in and replace the missing material on the board?
